The new addition to our backyard
Grandma and Grandpa from Wisconsin got the kids a trampoline. They LOVE it! First thing Madie says when she wakes up in the morning is "Mommy I go hop NOW". She doesn't even really jump she just kinda sits there and lets Slade bounce her around.
Madie's First Sleepover
The kids cousins were up for a couple of days and one night we had McKenzie and Jessica stay over at our house.
Slade was at his Mom's house that night so it was just the girls at our house. Before they went to bed they said that they wanted a snack. They stood on the stools at our island and ate some graham crackers with milk. Madie thought it was so cool to hang out with the big girls. As they stood there talking and laughing Madie would randomly through in a crazy little laugh like she knew exactly what they were talking about.
Wisconsin
Our trip to Wisconsin was awesome - too short, but awesome!
We got to see a ton of family however I don't seem to have any pictures of that.
We got to see some of the fire trucks that my Dad helps build. The kids thought it was really cool however Madie freaked a little when they started one of the trucks up.
We went on a tour of Lambeau Field
We got to walk down the tunnel that the Packers come out. As you walk through it they play a recording of the screaming fans. It is really cool and totally gave us goosebumps.
Go down on the field (you can't actually walk on the grass).

Homeless
Well we are back from vacation in Wisconsin (when I was younger I always thought that anyone that would go to Wisconsin for vacation was crazy... look at me now). We have actually been home for about a week now. I promise a post with all of the fun that we had when I am feeling more up for it but right now I am just feeling sad and homesick.
I always feel this way for a while after I have seen my family but this time has been terribly worse. My Mom and Stepdad are selling our house later this year and moving to North Carolina so this was the last time that I will get to go 'home'.
I know that there are much worse things in life then your parents selling your house, I am just really struggling with knowing that I will never be able to go back there.
I feel displaced, orphaned,.... homeless. Silly - I know considering I haven't lived there in years.
Ben has been awesome and very understanding about it. He is constantly asking if there is anything that he can do to make it better or to make Idaho feel more like home. The truth is - I don't think that Idaho ever will be home, it is just this place that I live with my family.
I know that I have a great life and I am very happy with my life, I am just a bit homesick right now.

Sladeism
Driving through Montana...
Slade informs us that he has to go poop...
We tell him to hang on a minute so we can figure out where we need to be going.
Slade starts pointing out places...
"Look there is Mcdonalds - I can poop there, Dad you missed it... thats ok there is a Wendy's, I can poop there..."
Ben: "Hang on a second buddy, I am a little bit confused about where we need to go"
Slade: "Yeah well I am confused about why you won't let me go poop"

It's a...
GIRL!!!!!
We are really excited! Madie doesn't really seem to care but Slade is pretty ticked that he is getting another sister. He asked us if when the baby is his age it will become a boy... um no buddy that is not quite how it works. He also kept telling the ultrasound lady that he really wanted a brother and she kept responding that she was sorry but she was sure that it was a sister. Poor guy!
Anyway Ben and I were both sure that it was a boy and we had a boy name all picked out. Now we are trying to figure out what we are going to name this little lady.

So Excied!!!
Today is the day! I can hardly contain myself!
Today we get to see our sweet little baby again and find out what we are having.
Slade still wants it to be a boy but when I ask him what he thinks it will be he says either a boy or a girl.
Madie still insists "a siter".
I guess we will know later this afternoon. Check back tonight to see what we are having and feel free to leave any guesses in our comments.
We are also leaving for Wisconsin tomorrow and I am so excited!
