Slade is 6.
I can't believe how fast the time has gone.
We had a party for him on Saturday with some family and some friends. It was so nice outside and the kids all ran, played and had a great time.
For the third year in a row he has asked for a transformer cake.
This is what I came up with this year.
The kids were pretty impressed with my transformer drawing skills.
We got Slade a scooter and all of the stuff that he will need to play soccer this summer.
I think that he had a pretty great day!
A few things about Slade
Slade is really loving and caring with his sisters. He can always get a smile out of Abbi and is really good at watching out for Madie.
He does not like school. He is doing good and learning what he needs to be learning but really does not like going.
This kid plays harder than any other kid I have ever seen.
It is still a struggle to get him to try new foods.
Slade is getting very independent. He has gotten to the point that he does not want me to take him down to the bus stop (he will however let Daddy take him to the bus stop).
He is starting to grow out of some cartoons and starting to enjoy shows with actual people more.
He really enjoys video games.
His favorite toys are beyblades, legos, and building guns with his duplos.
He is seriously obsessed with guns.
He knows the words to just about every song on the radio and always sings along.
He loves Primary and loves to come home and tell us what he has learned.
He is becoming a good reader.
He is totally Daddy's boy and misses his Dad like crazy when he is away at work.
Slade is such good kid and a big help.
We love you buddy!
