Thursday the kids found Ralphie taking a marshmallow bath on the kitchen counter.
Slade had another adult tooth pop up behind one of his baby teeth so we had to make a trip to the dentist so he could get his tooth pulled. This kid is such a stud- he was all excited to get his tooth pulled, he jumped in the chair bubbling over about how the tooth fairy was coming and he was going to get money.
After the dentist I took the kids to the store to do their shopping for our Christmas activity. Slade didn't seem to think that this was a suitable Christmas activity, he kept asking what our real activity was going to be. Apparently we need to put a bit more stress on how Christmas is about giving.
On the shopping list for the day we had... Abbi shopping for her cousin Peyton, Madie shopping for her cousin Sadie, and Slade shopping for his cousin Carson, his Mom and his little brother.
The cousins had exchanged names for the family Christmas party and every year we help Slade get something hot his mom and his brother. We also have our kids gets something for each other. This year I took them to Barnes and Noble and had them each pick out a book for each other. I figure these little monkeys are pretty spoiled as it is so a book would do them more good.
